Ha fatto e sta facendo discutere la relativa poca presenza di donne sul palco del concerto del Primo Maggio 2019.
Su tale polemica ha detto la sua anche la conduttrice del programma Ambra Angiolini, la quale ha smontato le accuse di "maschilismo" sostenendo che per il concertone non si fanno di certo 'selezioni maschili e femminili' e affermando che tali polemiche sarebbero assai inutili.
Indubbiamente le affermazioni della Ambrosini sono interessanti e per certi aspetti anche condivisibili. Difatti, è ormai una "legge non scritta" l'accusa a random di "maschilismo" a qualunque evento e/o situazione più o meno 'mainstream' dove vi sia poca o nulla presenza femminile e, di conseguenza, la richiesta di 'quote rosa' per "riequilibrare" la "disparità".
Su ciò, c'è da dire che tali polemiche rischiano di fungere da 'armi di distrazione di massa' e sviare dalla lotta alle vere discriminazioni sessiste e al vero maschilismo e d'altro canto occorre ricordare che in caso contrario vi sarebbe stata comunque ben poca o nessuna polemica (anzi).
Il fatto è che bisogna chiaramente lavorare sulla decostruzione dei pregiudizi sessisti e maschilisti ancora presenti nella società e, al contempo, incoraggiare comunque sempre il merito al di là del fatto che un'individuo sia maschio o femmina e ciò vale in qualunque campo.
