The economy nets a fair amount of jobs. But what region got them?
The Democrats in the House of Representatives are threatening contempt of Congress. Donald J. Trump talks to Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin. More gun violence in the United States.

Companies are bleeding jobs. The jobs report means something to those who support Trump. He believes that the falling job rate will help his chances in winning the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

Don't get me wrong, people who found jobs are going to be satisfied.

The jobs report for the month of April is out and once again it shows that for 334.2 million Americans, a measly amount of jobs are spread across the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the five occupied U.S. territories.

The unemployment number heads to 3.6%. There were 269,000 jobs added.

Average hourly earnings growth held at 3.2% over the past year, a notch below Dow Jones estimates of 3.3%. The monthly gain was 0.2%, below the expected 0.3% increase, bringing the average to $27.77. The average work week also dropped 0.1 hours to 34.4 hours.

Unemployment was last this low in December 1969 when it hit 3.5%. At a time when many economists see a tight labor market, big job growth continues as the economic expansion is just a few months away from being the longest in history.

CNBC also reports that with that success comes the hard facts.

Professional and business services led job creation with 76,000 new positions. Construction added 33,000, bringing to 256,000 the total new jobs created in the field over the past year.

Health care rose by 27,000, bringing its 12-month total to 404,000, while financial positions increased by 12,000, rounding out an increase of 111,000 in the 12-month period thanks largely to growth in real estate and rental and leasing.

Social assistance increased by 26,000, while manufacturing added 4,000.

Retail, whose fortunes have fluctuated in recent months, saw a loss of 12,000 jobs.

Why does it feel like it's not an improving economy?

First things first, the cost of living has not changed.

The average wage for most Americans aren't matching the cost of gasoline, food and rent. They are not matching overall satisfaction.

Many economists are saying that a recession is coming.

Those die-hard Trump supporters will say that his leadership is successful. All the while, they find that their average wages are stalling. Many of these Trump supporters probably lost their jobs. Some are probably losing their homes due to flooding, wildfires and foreclosure.

Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen over the past year.

Real Reason To Why Unemployment Rate Stays The Way It Is!

Let me remind you, that Trump and Republicans believe austerity is the key to a strong economy and job market. The Republicans are not in control of the House of Representatives. The Democrats now control the House and will push for an agenda that Trump will likely oppose. Republicans in the Senate will continue to pass ridiculous laws that hurt the working class and middle class. They are already streamlining federal judges that could rollback years of progress.

The inept Senate leadership of Mitch McConnell is being ignored. He is leading our country into the abyss. Trump and Republicans believe that trickle down economics (i.e. free market capitalism) is helping Americans. Really, it's making people work harder and we're not seeing the benefits of it.

We are not happy with the incentives companies provide.

With them trying to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, many of Trump's die hard supporters are going to get a culture shock when they find out their health coverage from their employer terminated it because they are no longer forced to provide it. Or they'll keep hours lower to keep people from obtaining health insurance.

The Jobs and Tax Cut Act has added trillions of dollars of debt to the economy. The results of the tax cuts haven't produced the stability. It's still considered a very unpopular law.

Trump is destroying the economy. I won't say anything positive about him. Regardless of what happens, this is short-term success.

I wonder how these trolls feed themselves in this economy?
