Falcon Star E-MLU di Skadron Teknik 042, Lanud Iswahjudi, Madiun (photos : IDN, SindoNews)

MADIUN - Kelanjutan Program Falcon Star E-MLU antara TNI AU dengan US Government (FMS), dan Lockheed Martin Aero (DCS) dibahas serius selama dua hari di Madiun.

Falcon E-MLU merupakan program bersama, untuk melakukan upgrade atau peningkatan kemampuan 10 pesawat F-16 seri A dan B, yang dilaksanakan di Skadron Teknik 042, Lanud Iswahjudi. 

Pertemuan ini, menjadi Program Management Review (PMR) ke-4, dengan agenda membahas capaian pelaksanaan pekerjaan modifikasi yang telah dilaksanakan. 

Selain itu, juga dilakukan pembahasan tentang kendala yang dihadapi, serta strategi pemecahan permasalahan dan agenda selanjutnya.  

Dalam pembahasan PMR ini hadir team dari US Government, ODC US Embassy, Lockheed Martin Aero, manajemen PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI), perwakilan Freight Forwarder, pejabat Mabes TNI AU, serta tim manajemen pelaksana Program Falcon Star E-MLU.

Pertemuan ini memiliki agenda utama membahas ringkasan pelaksanaan kegiatan, pengiriman aset Classified dan Mod Kit, rencana kegiatan training termasuk Site Survey tim dari Lockheed Martin untuk pelaksanaan FCF. 

Perwakilan Pemerintah USA diwakili oleh Col Kith Gibson, Mayor Elisabeth U. Co. Sedangkan dari LM Aero diwakili Jeff Boston, Michael Mc Spadden. 


Sementara dari TNI AU diwakili Kepala Proyek F-16 EDA, Kolonel Tek. Royke C. Manusiwa, Kepala Departemen Aero AAU, Kolonel Tek. Iwan Agung, Danwing 3 Lanud Iswahjudi, Kolonel Pnb. M. Satriyo Utomo, Kalibtek Koharmatau Kolonel Tek. Hery Supriyanto, serta Danskatek 042 Letkol Tek. A. Subagyo. 

Kolonel Tek. Royke C. Manusiwa, yang juga menjabat sebagai Kepala Dinas Logistik Lanud Iswahjudi, saat membacakan sambutan Komandan Lanud Iswahjudi, mengatakan, program Falcon Star E-MLU pesawat F-16 A/B yang dilaksanakan TNI AU merupakan "World Class Project".

"Pelaksanaan program ini membutuhkan dukungan kerjasama dari seluruh strategic patner yang terlibat, baik LM Aero sebagai sole source, US Government untuk GFE Items dan training, serta PT DI," terangnya.

Kegiatan Falcon Star E-MLU, lanjutnya, adalah yang pertama kali dilaksanakan oleh TNI AU. Tentunya, pelaksanaannya memiliki tantangan, karena harus berperan sebagai Program Office yang mengorganisir seluruh kegiatan ini, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi, dan pengawasan. 

Dia juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada berbagai pihak yang telah memberikan dukungan, dan kerjasama dalam menjalankan program ini. "Diharapkan semua berjalan sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah direncanakan," ungkapnya.
