Kapal Angkut Tank ini Diproduksi di Lampung

Provinsi Lampung kini bukan hanya penghasil kopi, lada, dan pisang. Provinsi berjuluk Sang Bumi Ruwai Jurai ini, juga penghasil kapal perang dan kapal tangker berkelas dunia.

Kapal-kapal hebat itu diproduksi PT Daya Radar Utama yang berlokasi di Panjang, Kota Bandar Lampung. Kapal yang Anda saksikan ini, adalah produksi PT Daya Radar Utama, yakni kapal Landing Ship Tank (LST) atau Kapal Angkut Tank (AT-4) KRI Teluk Lada 521.

Bandar Lampung (Lampungpro TV): PT Daya Radar Utama menyerahkan kapal ini ke Pemerintah RI melalui Menteri Pertahanan Ryamizard Ryacudu pada 26 Februari 2019. Ini merupakan Kapal Angkut Tank kedua yang diserahkan PT Daya Radar Utama dari lima kapal sejenis yang dibangun. Kapal kedua ini merupakan alat utama sistem persenjataan atau alutsista baru dan modern milik TNI Angkatan Laut.

KRI Teluk Lada 521 ini adalah alutsista moderen berteknologi canggih. Kehadiran kapal ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kemampuan TNI AL sekaligus menjaga kedaulatan dan kewibawaan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.

KRI Teluk Lada 521 merupakan Kapal Angkut Tank (AT-4) pertama dari dua kapal yang dipesan Kementerian Pertahanan kepada PT Daya Radar Utama. KRI Teluk Lada 521 memiliki spesifikasi teknis dengan ukuran panjang 117 meter, lebar 16,40 meter dan tinggi 7,8 meter. Kapal ini dapat melaju dengan kecepatan maksimal hingga 16 knot, kecepatan jelajah 13 knot, dan radius pelayaran 6.240 mil laut.

Kapal ini mampu mengangkut pasukan sebanyak 478 personel yang juga dirancang untuk mengangkut sampai dengan 15 unit Tank BMP 3F serta satu unit helikopter. Menurut Direktur Utama PT Daya Radar Utama Amir Gunawan, keberhasilan PT Daya Radar Utama dalam membangun kapal ini tidak terlepas dari kerja sama yang baik dari banyak pihak.

Pihaknya berharap terus dapat dipercaya untuk membangun kapal alutsista jenis lainnya. Dia menjelaskan pihaknya segera akan menyelesaikan tiga unit kapal AT lainnya yakni kapal AT 5, AT 6 dan AT 7 yang nantinya akan memperkuat alutsista nasional. Dari Lampung untuk kemajuan Indonesia.
