Six Flags Over Georgia's new thrill ride, Pandemonium, is being installed at the park, seen in a series of photos released this week.  The 147 foot tall swinging thrill ride is billed as the "tallest swing ride in the Southeast."  The ride features some unique colors when compared to other similar rides that have been installed recently at Six Flags parks, giving it a fresh look.

Pandemonium is going to be the centerpiece of a new ScreamPunk District themed section within Six Flags Over Georgia.  Its 15 story height will make the ride be able to swing at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour, extremely fast for a large thrill ride.  The pendulum will feature 40 riders seated in a large circle, rotating as they swing.

The park says that Pendemonium will swing riders so high that they will be able to check out the nearby Atlanta skyline while at its peak.  At night the ride will be covered in LED lights that will make just watching the ride an attraction of its own.

With the ride now installed the park can begin testing, and still hopes to have Pandemonium open "late spring."
