| Muslim teen attacked by a white teen. It's the latest of MAGA-ites showing out. |
Women of color often face harsh attacks from white extremists. They are worked up by the comments of Donald J. Trump and his accolades. Trump has made America hate again.
A young teen was attacked by her fellow classmates in a New Jersey school. The school district has to do damage control. The teacher and the classmates didn't break up the fight. The young girl who was a Muslim had her headscarf ripped off her head.
This happened in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
The female student who attacked the young teen was white. She was arrested after the footage went to social media.
One witness said, "I witnessed a Muslim girl on the floor and she was being senselessly beaten by the other girl. She was shouting for help and stop. I saw her being spat on."
Middlesex Countty prosecutors are charging the teen with simple assault, harassment, cyber harassment and disorderly conduct. The suspect was placed on leave at the school. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
If found guilty, the teen will be expelled from the school. She will pay for the medical damages on the victim. She will have to go to teen behavior classes along with cultural tolerance classes. She will have to do community service. She could get put in the kiddie lock up for up to five years.
The impact also got parents and community leaders angry. The victim was placed on leave as well as the boy who wanted to be a social media darling.
Although I am comfortable with the boy being place on leave, the victim shouldn't. But the school place a zero-tolerance policy on fighting.
That's pretty much a lawsuit in the waiting. The victim should file a lawsuit against the school, the school resource officer and the student.
It's a damn shame that white people are so clueless when it comes to Islam. I am not a religious scholar or a practicing Muslim. But I am a person who is tolerant of all religions.

I am not ashamed of being progressive. I am ashamed that conservatives think they're actually cool.
Nope. They're not.
If you're obsessed with conspiracies about the junk food media, sharing racist memes, saying inappropriate things about people because they don't speak English, attack the poor for using the safety net, troll on social media or blogs such as Journal de la Reyna, I think you're a racist.
Conservatives are racist. There's nothing more I can say about it.
The Republican Party is becoming white, male and old.
Democrats are no better. Given how they've treated Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MN) the last few months makes me wonder if the Democratic Party loves to prop up Black and Brown folks for votes.
Omar and Tlaib have been critical of Israeli influence on American politicians. They're being called anti-Semitic for daring to speak truth about how our government is funding a foreign power that is oppressing people of color.
Just tonight, that corrupt gas bag Benjamin Netanyahu is planning on building in the disputed Golan Heights. He vows to build a town after Trump. The world leaders are condemning Trump and Netanyahu for unilaterally occupying land that was in Syria. They are also building on the West Bank. That is a violation of the United Nations. They are starving and killing people in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli government had lead a campaign to silence the Boycott, Deinvestment and Sanctions movement. The Congress has members willing to impose criminal punishment on those who support BDS and many 2020 candidate pledge support to this horrible regime.
There's aftermath of these conversations affecting American Muslims. They're often vilified by folks on talk radio, Fox News and RightFart (aka Breitbart). Being a Muslim isn't a crime nor it should be.
In wake of the Easter attacks in Sri Lanka, many conservatives are whipping up another storm aimed at the two lawmakers. They automatically are blaming them for the acts of these extremists.
Five Americans were among almost 400 people being killed when young men with backpacks entered large gatherings. They blew themselves up. The ringleader claims that the right wing terrorist who caused the New Zealand attacks were an inspiration.
