The National Park Service had to put warning signs in plain sight to keep idiots from falling off the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, some of the folks never adhere to the warning sign.
U.S. Department of Interior and Department will eventually have the National Park Service do an overhaul of safety conditions at our nation's national parks.
But like most stories on this blog, you cannot fix stupid.
The Grand Canyon is a national treasure. It's a wide gap (extremely steep) where you can see the scenic Arizona desert and the Colorado River. It's very popular for people to take selfies.
It's also a place where many idiots lost their lives not following rules imposed by the U.S. Park Rangers who cautioned visitors from going near the cliff.
Would you risk taking a selfie?
The latest victim of falling off the Grand Canyon was a 70-year old woman. The National Park Service confirms that three people have fell off the canyon ledge. Most I assume went into the areas that are considered extremely dangerous.
I would love to visit the park one day. But better believe me, I won't ever do any stupid selfies for click-bait.
The folks who parished off the Grand Canyon go pass the warning signs clearly saying that the edges could be slippery and stay off the path. Obviously thrill seekers don't often take care to warning signs.
