Wikileaks Editor Dragged into Custody for Telling the Truth
Somedays, it's harder to blog than others. Today is a particularly difficult day. I have about four or five posts almost ready to go and only require a few last minute touch up edits. But I have writer's block, due to two recent events that have depressed the hell out of me.
The first is the dragging of Wikileaks editor Julian Assange out of the Ecuadorian embassy this morning...to be trundled off to USrael where he will be subjected to one of their patented kangaroo courts [justice being long dead in the US...they have no other kind of court]. Assange and Chelsea Manning are the individuals who ripped the curtain back from the blood bath of Iraqi civilians that was going on during the illegal Iraq war. The US has long ago admitted that they went to war with Iraq on false pretenses--killing, maiming and dislocating millions of Iraqis.
But, instead of bringing to "justice" [sic] the perpetrators of the war...like George W. Bush, Dick Chaney, Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz...they prefer to shoot the messengers...and shoot and shoot.
The US is badly in need of a "Show Trial"....a big distraction that will convince the brain-dead Talmudvisioned sheeple that there is a "Rule of Law". So many perps are wandering the streets, boardrooms and corridors of government. They need SOMEONE to bring to trial. Why not Assange and Manning...whose only crime was to tell humanity what the perps were up to?

Members of Canadian Parliament Expelled from Liberal Caucus for Telling the Truth
The other event which has broken the odometer needle on my "disgust-O-meter", is the decision by the Speaker of the Canadian House of Commons not to consider the matter of the expulsion of former Liberals, members of parliament Jane Philpott and Jody Wilson-Raybould. In that case, I can understand why the Speaker has reached the conclusion that it is not within the scope of his duties to consider the merits of Philpott's "Question of Privilege". What disgusts me is that the Liberals [and the NDP] both originally voted in favour of the reforms to the Parliament of Canada Act, which then was passed into law....but then they refused to follow their own law and conduct the necessary caucus votes back in 2015. That's why Jane and Jody are SOL for remedies under the legislation.
I believe that Jane and Jody have the duty to Canadians to pursue the matter in the regular courts under existing labour legislation which is quite strong in Canada. "Wrongful dismissal" is a common allegation against an employer or supervisor, which has amassed a lot of case law in support. That's what's missing in the original request to the Speaker--case law precedents. Since it is the first instance of its kind...the legislation is new...there are no precedents or previous case law. Jody and Jane need to create a precedent by suing the Liberal party for wrongful expulsion.
Then, the Liberals will need to backtrack and review what laws WERE followed, when Jody and Jane were summarily expelled by Trudeau....without a vote of the caucus. The Liberals will then discover, to their shock and awe, that the extant law already on the books was contravened...by Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada. Voila!!!!
IMO, Jane and Jody have a very strong case for wrongful expulsion. Now...all they need to do is find a venue, a court, to try it in. YOU GO GIRLS!!!!
