Brendon Tarrant, l'autore della recente strage anti-islamica in Nuova Zelanda, potrebbe aver avuto legami con alcuni gruppi neonazisti ucraini impegnati nel Donbass.
Ciò che è attualmente certo è che il 28enne di origine australiana aveva viaggiato in Ucraina, così come in altri paesi, in tempi decisamente recenti.
L'ipotesi di suoi possibili contatti con una parte del network dell'estremismo neonazista ucraino, riporta il Manifesto, sono stati fatti dal rappresentante della diaspora russo-cosacca in Australia, Semen Boykov.
Secondo Bykov, il 28enne sarebbe stato parte di un gruppo clandestino, chiamato 'Nazi right group resistance', di cui farebbero parte anche due foreign fighters neonazisti di origine australiana impegnati in Donbass, Jared Bennet e Ethan Tilling.
Come riportato dallo stesso articolo di Yurii Colombo per il Manifesto, nel manifesto di Tarrant si parla dei suoi viaggi in Europa e, in particolar modo, in Polonia e in Ucraina.
Ma mentre in Polonia avrebbe avuto avuto accesso grazie al “visto Shengen”, in Ucraina potrebbe aver ricevuto un visto presso l’ambasciata.
Secondo il rappresentante dei cosacchi in Australia, Aleksey Selivanov, si potrebbe sospettare che la stessa diplomazia ucraina conoscesse gli orientamenti ideologici del 28enne.
Stando sempre a Selivanov, arrivato in Ucraina Tarrant si sarebbe unito ad alcuni gruppi neonazisti per un “corso di formazione, un'ipotesi che è stata negata dal comandante della Legione Georgiana nel Donbass Mamuk Mamulashvili alla tv russa 'Ren'.
Comunque sia, per ora le ipotesi sono tante e questa non è comunque da scartare essendo il Donbass attualmente un 'laboratorio di guerra' per alcuni gruppi legati all'estremismo di destra neonazista, attivi sia nel campo filo-ucraino che in quello separatista filo-russo.
