Tapiro d'oro speciale da "Striscia la notizia" nella puntata in onda il 12 marzo 2019 alle 20.35. Il Tapiro in questione è travestito da agente segreto, il riferimento è ovviamente al governo ucraino che ha inserito il cantante nella lista degli individui considerati una minaccia per la sicurezza nazionale. Albano Carrisi ha scherzato, come suo solito, accettando il Tapiro d'oro ma rivolgendo un appello agli ucraini: "Mi fanno passare per un terrorista. Amici dell'Ucraina, state attenti che poi un Tapiro arriva anche a voi".
La consegna del Tapiro d'oro speciale
Intercettato da Valerio Staffelli, Albano Carrisi ha accettato il Tapiro d'oro spiegando di volerci capire di più in merito alle "premure" dell'Ucraina.
Indagherò perché voglio sapere a cosa si riferisce questo encomio che mi hanno donato dall'Ucraina. Non sarà piaciuto il mio canto, ma allora perché il Presidente mi ha chiamato per cantare? Oggi sono su tutti i giornali del mondo con questo titolo: terrorista. Black list può anche passare, magari loro amano il nero dopo tanto rosso, ma addirittura terrorista…
Un Tapiro d'oro all'Ucraina
Valerio Staffelli scherza così: "Se i servizi segreti dell'Ucraina dovessero catturarla lei è una spia che canta subito" e Al Bano risponde: "Non è che avranno paura delle mie note alte e le scambiano per bombe? Non attapiratevi ucraini, altrimenti il Tapiro vi arriva anche a voi".
La vicenda
Una notizia decisamente bizzarra quella dell'ostilità ucraina nei confronti del cantante di Cellino San Marco. Il Ministero della Cultura di Kiev ha inserito in una lista nera di artisti e personaggi stranieri ritenuti "minaccia per la nazione" anche il nome di Al Bano, solo per la presunta vicinanza al Cremlino. Intervistato dal Corriere della Sera, Albano ha spiegato:
Io pensavo si trattasse di un pesce d'aprile in anticipo, di una fake news, di Scherzi a Parte. Invece la notizia, purtroppo, è vera, ma scambiarmi per terrorista. Giustamente un mio amico dice terronista e mi sta bene perché provengo dal sud e il terrone ci sta pure bene. Io vorrei sapere da cosa nasca l'esigenza di bollare questa persona che tutto è tranne che un terrorista. Sono un uomo di pace da sempre e sempre lo sarò, basta dare uno sguardo alle canzoni che canto.
