Accordingly, one of the "kamikaze/suicide" UAVs that are making rain and wind in the Middle East of Israel today is IAI Harop or IAI Harpy 2, developed by IAI Aviation Industry Group, introduced from 2013.
Initially, Israel announced it was an anti-radiation drone - meaning that it would detect the enemy's radar source and strike it directly by ... crashing into it like a vehicle, convenient suicide bombing.
However, it was later discovered that IAI Harop could not only be used to attack an enemy's radiation source, but the operator could program it or control it to attack every target, every position they want.

The concept of drone from here has been born. This is also considered one of the first types of armed unmanned aircraft in the world capable of complete self-propelled.
Specifically, IAI Harop unmanned aircraft can be operated independently by pre-programmed information without the operator. During pre-set operation, if IAI Harop does not detect or not attack any targets, it will return to its initial takeoff position for landing.
IAI Harop's weapon is very simple, it is a 23kg heavy warhead with a powerful destructive power placed on the plane. The range of this aircraft is up to 1,000 km and can fly continuously for 6 hours in the air.

Harop's flight system uses a propeller engine combined with a 3-meter-wide wingspan but it's unclear what the maximum speed of this unmanned aircraft is. In the photo: IAI Harop uses a rocket engine to achieve take-off speed, this rocket engine will run out of fuel after only a few seconds when Harop flies up into the air.
Equipping the propellant engine to take off causes Harop to be deployed from any launcher without the need to have a runway.
Most recently, according to information posted by Jerusalem Post, India has ordered 15 of these suicide drones from Israel.
