Sono oltre 4mila le stoviglie biodegradabili sequestrate dai carabinieri del Nas (Nucleo antisofisticazione e sanità) di Alessandria in seguito della segnalazione della mamma, preoccupata per i possibili rischi alla salute della figlia.
Il sequestro è cautelativo, gli accertamenti sui piatti, non etichettati come previsto dalla normativa, sono ancora in corso. La ditta fornitrice rischia una multa da seimila euro in su, oltre ad una denuncia penale. “Le analisi dovranno chiarire se la tenuta della plastica alle fonti di calore sia adeguata o meno”, spiega Biagio Carillo, comandante dei carabinieri del Nas di Alessandria. “L’intervento del Nas – aggiunge – si è reso necessario per scongiurare pericoli per la salute”.
I carabinieri hanno mandato il materiale sequestrato all’Arpa, l’Agenzia regionale per l’ambiente, affinché verifichi fino a quali temperatura resistono le
stoviglie e le posatedistribuite alla mensa.
