Carlo Freccero ha deciso che Rai 2 potrebbe ospitare una trasmissione di approfondimento giornalistico sull’attualità. Più specificatamente, come riportato da Libero e da altri siti, in tale trasmissione si darà spazio all'informazione sovranista e alla informazione e controinformazione che viaggia in Rete.
Il programma si chiamerà L'Ottavo Blog e, come sostenuto dallo stesso neodirettore di Rai2, sarà basato sulla "rassegna dell'informazione che non deve essere divulgata".
