So bene che la politica riesce a complicare e rendere incomprensibili le cose semplici, con lo scopo di portare le persone allo sfinimento e all’allontanamento dalla vita politica. Traducendo questa affermazione nella attualità di questi giorni, che vede due navi sballottate dal mare cattivo con poche decine di africani a bordo, non c’è una sola istituzione politica europea, deliberante, in grado di dare una risposta a questa emergenza.
Eppure la questione è semplice, quasi elementare: la migrazione verso l’Europa è una questione europea, non solo dei paesi mediterranei, e quindi le eventuali quote di immigrati devono essere ripartite in tutti i paesi europei, in proporzione al numero di abitanti. Le navi delle ONG devono essere ritirate nei porti nazionali di appartenenza, quasi tutti europei, perché i trafficanti contano su questo aiuto per rendere possibile la traversata senza perdere barconi e scafisti.
L’Unione Europea, il suo Parlamento, devono dichiarare ufficialmente che la propria economia non è in grado di assorbire manodopera, se non nella forma schiavistica e in nero in mano a mafie e caporali.
