Scontro rovente in tv tra l’ex sindaco di Venezia Massimo Cacciari e la ministra della Pubblica Amministrazione Giulia Bongiorno. Teatro del furioso litigio è lo studio di Otto e Mezzo, in onda su La7. Si parlava della protesta di alcuni sindaci contro il decreto sicurezza e Lilli Gruber ha chiesto ai suoi ospiti un commento sulla questione.
La prima a parlare è la ministra in quota Lega che critica duramente i sindaci, sostenendo che una legge va applicata e rispettata sempre e comunque. Cacciari la corregge: “Dire che le leggi si applicano comunque è tremendo. È la base di un’interpretazione che ha portato alle massime sciagure. E’ la stessa legge che mi impedisce di soccorrere il naufrago il mare. Non si lasciano delle persone in mare per così tanti giorni. Qui la giustizia è morta. Parliamo di una legge che non ha più nulla a che fare con la giustizia. E’ la legge di Creonte, signora onorevole ministra”.
A quel punto però è la Bongiorno a cogliere in fallo il filosofo: £Professore, io la stimo enormemente – replica – però è fuori strada. Il caso Sea Watch non c’entra col decreto Sicurezza”. Cacciari perde le staffe e inizia a urlare: “E’ la legge che mi impedisce di seppellire il fratello, è la legge che mi impedisce di soccorrere il naufrago in mare. Ha capito? Non c’è soltanto la legge, c’è anche la giustizia. Ed è un principio fondamentale della cultura europea. Voi lo state dimenticando ed è una vergogna“. Ma la Bongiorno ribadisce: “E’ straordinariamente bello quello che dice, ma le faccio presente che non attiene al decreto Salvini, che non fa riferimento a quello che dice lei”.
“E invece attiene” – insiste Cacciari – Ci sono in mare 50 persone che non possono essere sbarcate. Ed è una vergogna non per Salvini, ma per l’Europa. E’ uno scandalo per l’Europa. Possiamo perdere una elezione, ma non possiamo perdere l’anima, vivaddio. Vergogniamoci! Non vergognatevi, ma vergogniamoci!”. “Il decreto Salvini non attiene a quello che dice lei”, continua a ripetere la ministra.
“Attiene al comportamento del ministro Salvini – ribatte il filosofo – Cosa me ne frega della legge? Una legge che non ha nulla a che fare con la giustizia è una legge perversa. Sto parlando dell’Europa, cosa vuole che me ne importi di Salvini, che corre adesso e che domani non c’è più? E’ l’Europa che ci stiamo mangiando”. A quel punto Lilli Gruber interviene per cercare di abbassare i toni. Ma la Bongiorno non si frena:”Gli facciamo fare questa specie di arringa…La vedo un po’ confuso in merito”. E Cacciari protesta: “Mi alzo e me ne vado. L’arringa? Si vergogni e mi risponda”.
