Kapal Cepat Rudal KCR-60M (photos : BUMN, PAL)

Kementerian Pertahanan (Kemenhan) pada tahun anggaran 2019 memesan 4 unit kapal perang tipe Kapal Cepat Rudal 60 Meter (KCR 60 M) dari PT PAL Indonesia. Empat unit tersebut terdiri dari 2 unit KCR 60 dengan paket platform plus sewaco dan 2 unit KCR 60 dengan paket sewaco.

Kapal perang ini nantinya akan digunakan oleh TNI AL. Kontrak pembuatan KCR 60 akan dilakukan selama 36 bulan ke depan di galangan milik PT PAL Indonesia di Surabaya.

"Kita dapat kontrak 4 unit, untuk pembangunan dan pemasangan senjata," Corporate Secretary PT PAL Indonesia Rariya Budi Harta kepada kumparan, Senin (7/1).

Lanjut Rariya, KCR 60 dirancang oleh Divisi Desain PT PAL Indonesia. KCR 60 merupakan kapal perang hasil pengembangan dari kapal perang tipe Fast Patrol Boat (FPB) 57 Meter. Kapal perang tipe FPB 57 awalnya dikembangkan dan diproduksi oleh BUMN perkapalan ini bersama galangan kapal perang luar negeri.



Setelah menguasai teknologi kapal perang FPB, tim dari PT PAL Indonesia selanjutnya merancang KCR 60. Hingga saat ini, PT PAL Indonesia sudah memproduksi dan menyerahkan 4 unit KCR 60 kepada TNI AL.

"Ini 100 persen karya anak bangsa. KCR 60 di-develop di Divisi Desain PAL Indonesia," tambahnya.
KCR 60 sendiri merupakan kapal perang dengan fasilitas senjata kaliber 20 mm dan peluncur rudal anti kapal-kapal permukaan. Spesifikasi lainnya, KCR 60 mampu berlayar selama 5 hari dengan kecepatan jelajah 20 knots. KCR 60 juga mampu membawa 55 personel.
