Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Transportation and Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz inaugurated the "Adam Interchange" in the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council on Tuesday morning.The interchange is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion in the area and improve passenger safety. More than NIS 60 million ($16 million) was invested in the construction of the interchange.
As part of the project, which was carried out by Netivei Israel, a level separator was established, enabling continuous and safe traffic on Route 60 and Highway 437, which leads from Jerusalem to Beit El in both directions. At the top of the separator there is a traffic circle that will significantly improve traffic flow for the many road users in the area.
Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed the incident at the Ofra junction. "I wish a speedy and complete recovery to all those wounded in the attack, and of course to Shira Ish-Ran and her baby son, who is still struggling for his life, and we all pray from the bottom of our hearts for an improvement in his condition.
