PTDI terus mengejar target sertifikasi pesawat angkut ringan kapasitas 19 penumpang rancangan LAPAN, N219 Nurtanio yang ditargetkan dapat diperoleh paling lambat pada Maret 2019. Setelah sebelumnya menggunakan produk lokal, kali ini dilakukan uji roda pendarat (landing gear) baru produk Jerman.

Setelah sehari sebelumnya menjalani "ground run and taxi test" pada Sabtu 8 Desember kemarin dilakukan pengujian "high speed test" untuk main landing gear (sepasang roda pendarat bagian belakang) yang kali ini menggunakan produk dari Heggemann. Pesawat N219 yang digunakan adalah prototipe 1 (PK-XDT).



Heggemann AG merupakan perusahaan Jerman yang bergerak dalam engineering hingga manufaktur untuk bidang kedirgantaraan dan automotif.

Uji roda pendarat (landing gear) pesawat N219 (nose gear dan main landing gear) telah dilakukan sejak Maret 2018  Pengujian landing gear ini bertujuan untuk menjajal kekuatan struktur landing gear pesawat N219 dalam menerima beban impact saat pendaratan, pengujian dilakukan di laboratorium LAPAN di Bogor dan running test dengan pesawat prototipe.
