"This is going to be a very different Washington.”
Fox News made the early call on election night that Democrats had taken control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Before any other network had hinted that Democrats had cross the threshold for taking control of the House, Fox News host Bret Baier broke the news that the network’s “Decision Desk” had made the call.
“Democrats control the House,” Baier stated before explaining that the network had used a combination of exit polls, election returns and other statistics to come to the decision.
“It is a very, very big deal,” Fox News host Chris Wallace confirmed, sounding stunned. “I know a lot of listeners out there, their heads are exploding but this is going to be a very different Washington.”
