On Monday, CNN's Brian Stelter reported that yet another suspicious package sent to the news network has been intercepted at a post office in Atlanta.
According to CNN president Jeff Zucker, there is no current threat to the network's employees, and furthermore that all mail is being delivered and screened at a secure site beforehand.
Breaking: "This morning, another suspicious packaged addressed to CNN was intercepted at an Atlanta post office. There is no imminent danger to the CNN Center. All mail, at all CNN domestic bureaus, is being screened at off-site facilities," Jeff Zucker says.
Last week, one of the 13 pipe bombs that were sent to various Democratic public figures ended up at the CNN offices in New York. The package was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, who has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump.
The suspected bomber behind those attacks, Cesar Sayoc, is a registered Republican and Trump supporter who has attended the president's rallies. He was arrested last Friday and is due in court on federal charges.
