Yanukovych’s Lawyer Gave Trump’s People Compromising Evidence on the Organisers of the Maidan Shootings

Vitaly Serdyuk, the lawyer of the president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, said that this week the employees of the “Aver Lex” company and also the lawyer Aleksandr Goroshinsky met the lawyers from the US John Pappalardo and Joe Reeder during their visit to Ukraine. Serdyuk is convinced that the materials transferred to the American colleagues “will become the subject of detailed consideration at the highest level in the US”.

“During the meeting we presented to our American colleagues detailed information and documents concerning the shooting of law enforcement bodies and protesters on Maidan, and also the participation in this of [the people’s deputy from “People’s Front”] Sergey Pashinsky, [the speaker of the Rada] Andriy Parubiy, [the non-factional people’s deputy] Vladimir Parasyuk, and others.

Besides this, we presented information and documents concerning the armed anti-constitutional seizure of power in the state that happened in the winter of 2014, the role of the previous administration of the US President and US Embassy in Ukraine in those events, and also the facts of systematic human rights violations and corruption carried out by high-ranking Ukrainian officials,” the lawyer said.

Serdyuk added that he discussed with colleagues from the US the “illegal political persecution of the president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his lawyers”, and also transferred all documents confirming the judges of the Obolonsky district court passing decisions that were illegal from the start, according to the lawyer. The lawyers stated that the jurists from the US also received testimonies concerning the illegal actions that were made by the employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office and personally the Prosecutor General of Ukraine against Yanukovych.

“We provided these and other facts to our American colleagues within the framework of the contract that was signed earlier, which implies presenting to ‘Aver Lex’ the information collected on the territory of Ukraine in relation to all the aforementioned questions.

All the transferred and gathered evidence of the illegal actions of the current political leadership of Ukraine, and also the judges and prosecutors involved in the fabrication of criminal cases, will in the future become the subject of detailed consideration at the highest level in the US and must entail a tough reaction from the US Government, which allocates huge financial means for, among other things, the establishment in Ukraine of the principles of legality and the rule of law,” summarised the lawyer.

Earlier the Kiev publication “Strana” wrote that John Pappalardo and Joe Reeder are “two well-known American lawyers who are now close to the US president Donald Trump’s team”.
