Lo scorso 25 aprile un giudice aveva revocato a Battisti le misure cautelari, liberandolo dalla cavigliera e permettendogli di muoversi nel paese. La decisione era stata presa dalla Corte suprema brasiliana (Stj), che aveva annullato una precedente sentenza, emanata quando a ottobre 2017 Battisti
