I conti del turismo italiano, a fine estate, sono in rosso. A segnare il calo più evidente è stato il Salento, negli anni scorsi meta di un numero sempre crescente di bagnanti, visitatori e persone alla ricerca del divertimento. Le ragioni di questa crisi? Un'altra colpa dell'Italia - o forse in questo caso sarebbe più opportuno dire degli italiani - è, secondo Briatore, il provincialismo che si esprime con particolare forza alla vista del vip di turno:
"Quando c'è un matrimonio importante in Italia, subito chi si sposa trova la gente che paparazza, e presto vede le sue foto sui giornali o sui social media. Così perdiamo credito perché violiamo la privacy. E costringiamo i personaggi importanti a non venire più a sposarsi da noi".
