(Penkostrad). Batalyon Kavaleri 1/BCC Divif 1 Kostrad melaksanakan Uji Siap Tempur tingkat Kompi (UST Kompi) yang melibatkan 112 personel terdiri dari 57 personel pendukung dan 55 opersonel pelaku juga menggunakan 13 unit kendaraan tempur yakni 1 unit Marder, 4 unit MBT Leopard 2A4 dan 8 Unit MBT Leopard 2RI. Uji Siap Tempur ini  dilaksanakan selama 4 hari yang di mulai tanggal 10 s.d 13 September 2018 di daerah latihan Puslatpur Baturaja Palembang, Sumatera selatan.

Sebagai Pasiopslat UST Kompi Kapten Inf Zodikul Ullum Elly  mengatakan, latihan ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kesiapan operasional Kompi Kav dan mengukur kemampuan profesionalisme, para prajurit dalam mendukung pelaksanaan tugas pokok Batalyon Kavaleri 1 Kostrad.



“UST dibuat dengan skenario latihan secara realitas dan dihadapkan dengan dinamika yang sangat tinggi sehingga pelaku benar-benar dituntut inisiatif dan melakukan kegiatan sesuai dengan prosedur dalam pengambilan keputusan saat mengatasi hambatan yang tak terduga, sehingga inisiatif para pelaku sangat dibutuhkan,”kata Pasiopslat.

Danyonkav 1 Kostrad Letnan Kolonel Kav Muhammad Darwis sebagai Wadanlat menekankan kepada seluruh peserta latihan agar melaksanakan latihan dengan semangat dan sungguh-sungguh, memaksimalkan sarana prasarana pendukung yang ada. Karena UST Kompi ini untuk menguji sejauh mana kemampuan teknis mau pun taktis dalam hubungan satuan setingkat Kompi.
