Fa discutere un TEDx Talk che si è svolto non molto tempo fa in Germania, per la precisione all’Università di Würzburg a maggio del 2018.
Più specificatamente si tratta di un discorso tenuto dalla studentessa di medicina Mirjam Heine, studentessa della stessa Università di Würzburg(1).
In tale discorso, la Heine ha affermato che la percezione sociale della pedofilia deve cambiare.
Più specificatamente, la studentessa di medicina ha sostenuto che i pedofili devono accettare il loro orientamento e allo stesso tempo devono controllare i loro istinti.
Inoltre, riporta Gli Occhi Della Guerra(2), la Heine ha dichiarato che bisognerebbe accettare scientificamente la pedofilia in quanto sarebbe 'un orientamento naturale come gli altri'.
Oltre a ciò, secondo Mirjam Heine non bisognerebbe isolare i pedofili in quanto ciò potrebbe aumentare la probabilità di abusi sui bambini.
Andando maggiormente nei dettagli, la Heine si ispira al medico e psicoterapeuta Klaus Michael Beier(3), il quale dirige un programma di prevenzione per pedofili.
Riporta l'Independent(4) che tale programma, chiamato Kein Tater Werden('Non Offendere'), si pone l'obiettivo di insegnare agli stessi pedofili il controllo dei loro impulsi.
Sempre stando all'articolo degli Occhi Della Guerra, in un'intervista del 2017 al Times Of India Beier ha dichiarato che 'la pedofilia è una realtà' e che le società devono imparare ad accettarla(5).
Il video ha causato diverse controversie ed è stato rimosso da YouTube e dalla pagina ufficiale di Ted dopo la richiesta della Heine.
Come riporta il già citato articolo degli Occhi Della Guerra, sul blog di Ted si legge che “Abbiamo appreso che l’oratrice ha chiesto che venisse rimosso da Internet perché aveva serie preoccupazioni per la sua sicurezza”.
