Televison personality Montel Williams on Monday slammed Donald Trumps defender and Fox News regular Gina Loudon for claiming NFL players “make a mockery of our military veterans,” explaining neither she, nor her network, understand “serving this nation.”
Loudon appeared on Fox Business Saturday to lament NFL players who are using their platform to protest against racism, police brutality and social injustice.
“What were they protesting again?” Loudon asked host Lou Dobbs. “Can you even remember? Because I kind of feel like maybe they’re protesting protesting. Because I don’t think anybody is aware of exactly what it is they’re protesting.”

“I believe you know this isn’t the proper venue to protest,” Loudon claimed. “I would fight for their right to protest. But they make a mockery of our military veterans, their sport and their fans when they use their profession. There are more effective ways to make their case.”
