Sta facendo discutere la vicenda relativa all'abuso compiuto da Asia Argento nei riguardi del giovane attore Jimmy Bennett, all'epoca dei fatti minorenne.
Com'è noto, la Argento era diventata e si era considerata la paladina delle vittime degli abusi nonché la 'madrina' del movimento Metoo.
A seguito della scoperta del New York Times sul caso Bennett, c'è da segnalare che le reazioni sono state assai diverse rispetto a quello che si è abituati.
Difatti, il fatto che l'interessato dell'abuso fosse un ragazzo ha generato diverse minimizzazioni e pure non poche giustificazioni.
Difatti, leggendo i commenti dei social(da Twitter a Facebook) alcuni utenti hanno sostenuto che in fondo non è successo nulla di grave e tanti hanno sostenuto che Bennett starebbe approfittando della situazione, anche se lo stesso attore non solo non ha mai reso noto la vicenda ma ha accettato una cospicua somma di denaro dalla Argento per 'rimanere in silenzio'.
Inoltre, ci sono stati utenti che hanno sostenuto che gli abusi contro gli uomini 'non esistono' e vi sono stati alcuni commenti di minimizzazione da chi mai ha minimizzato casi avvenuti a genere opposto.
Insomma, sembrerebbe che ci sia ancora una sorta di 'doppio standard' su queste tematiche.
Il fatto è che gli abusi sono sempre abusi e anche se vengono commessi su un uomo tali rimangono e/o andrebbero considerati, oppure no ?.
