Nidal Sabeh: The US May Introduce a No-Fly Zone in Syria After Staging a Chemical Attack in Idlib

The United States and their allies want to use a provocation with the use of chemical weapons in the Idlib Governorate for the purpose of introducing a no-fly zone over all of Northern Syria. According to Sabeh, the policy of the United States in Syria “becomes more and more aggressive and aims to divide this country”. He reported that American engineers expand an airfield in the city of Al-Shaddadah in the south of the province of al-Hasakah for the reception of heavy military transport planes. “There a fully-fledged US airbase is being created, which, seemingly, will be used against pro-Iranian formations operating in the region of the Syrian-Iraqi border,” stressed the expert.

Such a step, according to the Lebanese analyst, “will strengthen interaction between Turkey, Russia, and Iran as guarantors of a ceasefire in Syria and will allow them to jointly fend off the dangerous plans of Washington in the Middle East”.
According to the forecast of Sabeh, as soon as the Syrian army starts the military operation in Idlib, “most of the armed groups concentrated there will capitulate and will opt for reconciliation with the authorities”.
