Dems are hoping to flip another Trump district.
No matter the area, vote......
If you're tired of gun violence, the status quo, divisiveness in the country, and incompetent leadership, vote for candidates who could change the outcome.
Moms Demand Action, March For Our Lives, John Legend and LeBron James want to flip Ohio's 12th Congressional District. They formally endorsed the candidate who could shake up the midterms this year.
The district that was once held by former Republican lawmaker Pat Tiberi is now considered a toss up.
Republicans are scrambling to keep a seat that was once considered relatively safe in the Cook Political Report.
The contenders are Troy Balderson, a longtime Republican Ohio state senator and Danny O'Connor, a rising Democratic challenger.
Balderson is a married state senator. He is considered a typical Republican who supports most of our dear imbecile's agenda. He is hoping the last minute endorsements from Mike Pence, Sean "Softball" Hannity and Mark Levin could bring out Republicans.
O'Connor is a 31 year old from suburban Columbus who was at first trailing Balderson. He is the Franklin County Recorder who wants to capture voters fed up with the actions of a Republican controlled Congress.
Could Trump's last minute push help save a fairly strong Republican district?
Donald J. Trump and Balderson on their part has dubbed the candidate a clone of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). They have stroked fear mongering about a Speaker Pelosi and how progressives are bad for the country,
O'Connor dismissed the allegations and stayed focused on issues like healthcare, unemployment in the district and how he is engaged to his girlfriend who is a Republican.
He like most Democrats are calling for new leadership.
Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are lightening rods and lackluster on results within the party's base. While effective, the Democrats want more fight and they better results. O'Connor like Rep. Connor Lamb (D-PA) and New York Democratic congressional nominee Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will not back another House Speaker who has been established.
Also the progressives are mounting a push to force Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) out of Congress. He too is under fire. The conservative lawmaker is under fire.
As then a former assistant wrestling coach for Ohio State University, Jordan ignored the concerns of men who were sexually abused by a former doctor.
The same shit that got head football coach Urban Meyer in the freezer.
Balderson won't acknowledge Jordan or his longshot bid to become Speaker of the House.
Today is the Special Election for the Ohio 12th Congressional District.
