Aveva esposto dei mega cartelloni contenenti notizie false in materia di vaccinazioni e ora dovrà pagare 400 euro di multa per "procurato allarme". Questa la decisione del giudice Paola Losavio, gip di Modena, a proposito di una serie di manifesti sei metri tre, commissionati da un'esponente del movimento No vax, comparsi tra il 18 e il 22 febbraio scorso, con il testo: "Non speculate sui bambini, vogliamo la verità sui vaccini: 21.658 danneggiati nel triennio 2014-16 secondo i dati Aifa, altroché uno su un milione!". Questa la fake news che ha portato alla prima condanna in Italia di una rappresentante del movimento contro i vaccini.
L'indagine della Procura emiliana era partita da un esposto dell'Ausl di Modena. I cartelloni, sei metri per tre, erano stati esposti, nel febbraio scorso, dall'associazione Riprendiamoci il pianeta assieme ai Genitori del no Emilia Romagna.
I manifesti, però, riportavano un dato errato: i numeri attribuiti all'Agenzia italiana del farmaco non si riferivano in realtà ai bambini danneggiati dai vaccini ma al totale di segnalazioni sospette. D'altra parte anche gli stessi organizzatori della campagna no vax ammisero l'errore.
"Ci siamo resi conto - avevano spiegato - di avere scritto una inesattezza nel nostro manifesto che stiamo correggendo, non si tratta infatti di 21.658 danneggiati da vaccino, ma di 21.658 segnalazioni di sospette reazioni avverse".
Ma ormai il testo era stampato a caratteri cubitali sui manifesti tanto da provocare la reazione dell'azienda sanitaria di Modena contro "ogni forma di mistificazione e di propaganda antiscientifica" poi sfociata nella condanna ai no vax da parte del giudice per procurato allarme.
