Sembra che il reparto di Chirurgia vascolare dell'ospedale del Mare di Napoli sia stato chiuso, nella notte tra venerdì e sabato.
Tutti i pazienti sarebbero stati dimessi o dirottati in altre strutture, "per consentire a medici e infermieri di partecipare alla festa organizzata in un locale a Pozzuoli dal neo primario per celebrare il nuovo incarico".
È la denuncia del
consigliere regionale dei Verdi, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, che afferma di aver ricevuto diverse segnalazioni che attesterebbero la vicenda. Immediatamente, il consigliere ha contattato,
come riferisce Repubblica,
"il direttore dell'Asl Napoli 1, Mario Forlenza, ed il direttore sanitario dell'Ospedale del Mare, Giuseppe Russo, per chiedere conferma sull'incredibile vicenda". Forleza ha quindi disposto la
sospensione del primario Francesco Pignatelli, su cui pendono le accuse. Il provvedimento dovrebbe essere formalizzato domani.
Borrelli sostiene che i membri del reparto si fossero organizzati per chiedere ferie e malattie, di modo da poter essere tutti presenti ai festeggiamenti per il nuovo incarico di Pignatelli.
Il consigliere dei Verdi chiede, qualora l'episodio venisse cofermato, sanzioni e punizioni per i medici e gli infermieri coinvolti, a causa"dell'assoluta mancanza di etica professionale". Borrelli si chiede sgomento: "Come si fa ad avere fiducia in una intera equipe medica che decide di chiudere un reparto di un ospedale pubblico per andare a una festa? Non è pensabile continuare ad avere questi comportamenti proprio mentre la Regione da tempo sta conducendo una battaglia feroce contro i furbetti del cartellino, gli assenteisti e i truffatori".
Ora toccherà a Forlenza e Russo, indagare a fondo, per accertare la fondatezza o meno della denuncia del consigliere dei Verdi.
