Corriere della Sera, un appello rivolto a
Roberto Saviano, con la richiesta di mettere i loro corpi “sulle navi che salvano i migranti”. Un appello che ha trovato risposta in una lettera di Saviano a Repubblica, nella quale lo scrittore afferma senza dubbi: “Caro Sandro, io ci sto, questa battaglia la combatto da anni e non ho alcuna paura di perdere perché sono certo di una cosa: saremo più grandi noi nella nostra sconfitta, che loro in questo barbaro trionfo”. Il motivo che spinge Saviano a pubblicare questa contro-lettera va oltre la questione dei migranti e si sofferma più in generale sulla situazione politica e sull’approccio del governo: “Dobbiamo chiamare a una insurrezione civile e democratica contro questa barbarie fondata sulla menzogna sistematica, ma non esiste un gesto unico. Ciascuno di noi, facendo il proprio lavoro con onestà, vivendo e trattando il prossimo con onestà, avrà fatto la sua parte”.
