Dopo la notizia, giunta improvvisa sabato scorso, dell'uscita di scena di Sergio Marchionne dalla guida di Fca, per gravi motivi di salute, subito erano circolate indiscrezioni sulle condizioni di salute del manager e su quale potesse essere la malattia che lo aveva colpito in modo così pesante da rendere inevitabile l'abbandono del timone dell'azienda.
Si sapeva solo una cosa: alla fine di giugno si era recato in una clinica di Zurigo per un'operazione alla spalla, che gli causava problemi. Qualche giorno fa, invece,
Franzo Grande Stevens, ex legale degli Agnelli, in un'intervista al Corriere della sera aveva dichiarato che a Marchionne
erano state fatali le sigarette, a cui non era mai riuscito a rinunciare. E subito si era rafforzata la convinzione che si trattasse di un tumore, che avrebbe aggredito Marchionne alla parte alta dei polmoni.
Ora si apprende che dopo l'operazione alla spalla di fine giugno, Marchionne ha avuto delle complicazioni "inattese e improvvise" che lo hanno portato a un arresto cardiaco. Il manager è stato portato in rianimazione ma non dipedendeva in maniera sistematica dalle macchine, che gli erano da supporto.
