BINAN--Fitch Arboleda saved Stallion Laguna from getting pipped at home against Davao Aguilas as he forced a 1-1 draw in their PFL match at the Binan Football Stadium on Saturday.

Arboleda headed in a Carlo Polli set piece in the third minute of stoppage time as the more aggressive Laguna side split the points with Davao.

Wesley Dos Santos made the match's first goal in the 38th minute with a header off a Phil Younghusband corner.

Laguna tried to quickly get the goal back, but the Davao defense held on even as Laguna committed some bad passes at close range from the goal.

However, Polli made sure his pass won't falter, chipping his free kick into a blitzing Arboleda, who went for the layout and headed the ball past Patrick Deyto.

The draw moves Davao and Laguna to 29 and 25 points respectively. Both teams are chasing Iloilo (33) for second place.
