È il sottosegretario di Stato belga, Theo Francken, responsabile dell'Immigrazione, a chiedere al nuovo ministro dell'Interno Matteo Salvini di "smettere di accettare delle imbarcazioni (di migranti) in Sicilia e in Italia" per "cessare di incitare al traffico e di lasciare arricchirsi le mafie".
