Durante una recente puntata di Piazza Pulita, Federico Rampini ha commentato la vittoria di Donald Trump e la crisi della sinistra statunitense ed occidentale.
Andando maggiormente nello specifico e stando a quanto riportato in un articolo pubblicato sul 'Primato Nazionale'(1), il noto giornalista di 'Repubblica' ha affermato che sulla globalizzazione la sinistra si è ormai appiattita sul 'pensiero unico neoliberista'.
Inoltre, secondo Rampini un'altra ragione della crisi elettorale della 'sinistra radical chic' è il fatto che essa vuole vedere solo i lati positivi dell'immigrazione, negando e minimizzando i lati negativi.
Tra tali lati negativi, c'è da segnalare che la stessa immigrazione di massa viene usata per schiacciare i salari e il giornalista ha ricordato che la sinistra ha smesso di segnalare ciò.
