Senator Robert F. Kennedy
Assassinated in June, 1968

Today is the 50th anniversary of the death of Robert F. Kennedy, brother of assassinated President John F. Kennedy, Senator from New York, candidate for the Presidency at the time of his assassination on June 5, 1968.

Many mainstream media outlets and some alternative bloggers have written about RFK lately and I will include some of these links in my own remembrances here.

Just as I and many others remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when they heard JFK had been assassinated in Texas, I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I first heard that Robert Kennedy had been killed.  It was early in the morning and I was riding a bus on the way to work.  I had gone to bed the evening before having seen RFK speaking on the nightly news.  He had delivered a victory speech at the Ambassador Hotel in Las Angeles, having just won the California primary on the race to the Presidency of the United States.  I was very satisfied with his victory and with the way his candidacy was going.  Being a great Kennedy supporter, I had been watching the race with great interest.  In a way, Robert running for the presidency was a relief from the lingering grief that I and others still felt over the assassination of his brother five years before.  We thought, "Well, if he could pick himself up and carry on and make such an effort...who am I to sit and mope?"  So I had gone to bed energized and looking forward to reading more about RFK's victory in the paper the next day.

Well, the next day as I say, I was riding the bus on my way out to my job at the Business Administration Faculty at the University of British Columbia.  I was the administrative co-ordinator of a correspondence course.  The bus had entered a "loop" just outside the University gates and was taking on passengers.  A passenger got on and sat in front of me and opened a newspaper.  I read the headlines over his shoulder:  "Robert Kennedy Shot Dead!" or some similar headline.  I literally could not believe my eyes.  Simultaneously, others also saw the headline and we all dropped our jaws in shock.  There was general muttering of words of anger, shock, sorrow and grief amongst the passengers.  And then began a long week or perhaps month of non-stop grief and anger...watching the TV 24/7...reading the newspapers...talking with others.  After the deaths of JFK and the very recent death of Martin Luther King just months previous, it was like a deep wound had been scraped open again by a very blunt weapon.  We didn't even know about post traumatic stress syndrome then but we were all feeling it.

As an Irish Catholic child of an immigrant family, I might have felt the grief more personally than others.  My own family was a poorer, mirror image of the Kennedy family.  Nine children brought up by a strict mother in the Catholic faith.  We closely identified with the Kennedy children of Rose and Joseph Kennedy.  My mother, in fact, had written to Robert Kennedy some months before his death and contributed a small amount to one of the charities he supported for civil rights in the American deep south.  The letter she received from RFK in response hung prominently and proudly on the hallway of our family' home for years.  Now it's hanging proudly in my hallway.  A photo of Robert F. Kennedy's "thank you" letter to my mother is copied below:

Letter written to my mother by
Robert F. Kennedy
three months before he was murdered

The last two sentences of the letter are particularly poignant.  "...Again, I was most grateful for your letter and for your very kind remarks.  I hope you will feel free to stay in touch with me about matters of mutual concern as the months pass."  Three short months from the date of that letter,  Robert Kennedy was dead.

But as powerful and as deep the grief felt by those who supported the Kennedys and what they stood for was...none of us ever dreamed that they were murdered by rogue elements within their own country.  This is the amazing truth about those times.  We were all so naïve.  "They" could kill not one, not two, but three of the most prominent leaders in the US and virtually nobody ever put the dots together.

We all accepted the "lone gunmen" theories put out by the mainstream media.  No doubt there were doubters from the very outset of the serial assassinations that took place in the l960's [like New Orleans D.A. Jim Garrison]...but they had NO voice and we didn't know about their existence...until many decades later.  Besides...we were all caught up and distracted by the "Apollo Missions To the Mooooooooooon", the Vietnam war and the counter-culture movement of the 60's..."women's liberation" and the "drug culture", LSD, marijuana.  We were young and we were immersed  in our careers, our relationships...our popular culture, rock bands, blockbuster movies, bestseller books.  It was all very distracting.

When we finally woke up...in the 90's and early 2000's....prosaically, it was probably related to the normal aging process. Our families were grown, our careers winding down.  We started to notice patterns more.  We started to see themes and memes in society.  We started connecting the dots.  A few more assassinations took place.  Like Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone as a big example.  This senator was a crucial vote in the US Senate and wielded a lot of power.  He didn't go along with the neocons. Wellstone died in a mysterious "plane crash".  We started looking at his death and the death of ....wait for it...the only son of John F Kennedy...JFK Jr.  also in a mysterious plane crash.  The bile began to rise in our throats.

Then came 9/11.  Not a bridge but.... a monstrous act too far.  The dam of "head in the sand" avoidance was finally breeched. The pent-up log jam of all the years of lies, crimes and corruption burst.  We were suddenly flooded with a horrific, slimy, noxious truth.  All the innocents of 9/11 AND all these men, our heroes...had been murdered in cold blood--by the same cabal of MosCIAd/Israeli-based thugs and traitors.  Here is what Stephen Lendman,  had to say recently:

Sirhan Sirhan DID NOT Kill Bobby Kennedy!
by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.orgHome – Stephen Lendman)

Bobby Kennedy, brother Jack, and Martin Luther King were victims of state-sponsored terrorism – Sirhan, Lee Harvey Oswald, and James Earl Ray falsely blamed for assassinations they had nothing to do with.
June 5 marks the 50th anniversary of RFK’s state-sponsored murder. Sirhan was set up as a convenient patsy, the same way Oswald and Ray were used. Despite convincing evidence of his innocence, Sirhan was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death, three years later commuted to life in prison. Official accounts of the JFK, RFK and MLK killings suppressed key facts.James Fetzer’s earlier article titled “JFK and RFK: The Plots that Killed Them, The Patsies that Didn’t” explained the following:

“We are looking at staged events that fit into a recurrent pattern in US and world history where innocent individuals (or ‘patsies’) are baited and framed for cover-up purposes,” adding:

Elimination RFK was “in part intended to prevent a reinvestigation into his brother’s death…The assassinations of RFK and JFK were both (state-sponsored) conspiracies.” “Both involved the destruction of evidence. Both involved the fabrication of evidence. Both involved framing their patsies.”

“Both involved complicity by local officials. Both involved planning by the CIA. Both were used to deny the American people (their) right to be governed by leaders of their own choosing.”

In 1968, RFK was virtually assured to be Democrat party nominee for president, favored to defeat Richard Nixon in November – an intolerable prospect for US dark forces, why Bobby had to be eliminated.

Fetzer explained RFK was struck multiple times by lethal gunfire. Sirhan’s gun was the wrong caliber. One bullet wound was “about 1.5 inches…behind (Bobby’s) right ear.”

Sirhan was never that close – “in front of him,” not behind. Autopsy results showed Bobby was struck by four bullets “fired from behind at upward angles…five others close to him…wounded by separate shots…as many as 13 fired.”

The LAPD was complicit in the assassination, suppressing and destroying evidence.

Autopsy results clearly proved Sirhan’s innocence. Security guard Eugene Cesar stood right behind Bobby with a drawn gun of the same caliber as the murder weapon. It was never examined, nor was he considered a suspect or charged.

In January 2010, prison teacher Gerald Reynolds interviewed Sirhan (now in his mid-70s) – imprisoned for half a century, his life destroyed for a crime he didn’t commit.

Reynolds: “Did you do it?”

Sirhan: “Did I do what?’

Reynolds: “You know.”

Sirhan: “What do you want to know?”

Reynolds: “Did you kill Robert F. Kennedy?”

Sirhan: “No, I did NOT kill Robert F. Kennedy!”

Reynolds: “I know you didn’t.”

Sirhan: “How do you know?”

Reynolds said he studied details of the case, learned RFK was killed at point blank range by a bullet to the back of his head, explaining: “The real assassin appears to be Kennedy’s 26 year old Ace Security Company bodyguard…Thane Eugene Cesar.” “At least one eye witness claims to have seen Cesar with a smoking gun in his hand immediately after Kennedy fell to the floor.”

“An audio recording made during the assassination indicates that there were at least 11 shots fired (perhaps more) from possibly three different guns.” “The conclusion is that Kennedy was shot three times from behind with a fourth bullet passing through his suit coat. The fact that you (Sirhan) were standing in front of Kennedy is undisputed…”   (T)he coroner’s report (said) not one bullet entered Robert F. Kennedy from the front of his body.”
Sirhan: “Oh my! I knew this morning when I woke up that God was telling me he had something great in store for me today and this is it! God has sent you to me…Thank goodness somebody else knows.” Sirhan stressed “they stole his life…(He’s) been rotting in that stinking prison…for nothing…The bastards stole my life. I have been denied parole 13 times.”

It’s now 15 times. US dark forces intend letting him die in prison – parole panel members saying he failed to show remorse or understand the enormity of his crime (sic) used as a convenient pretext to let him rot behind bars.

In March 2016, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit denied Sirhan’s right to appeal, ending his hopes for a new trial, his only chance to prove he had nothing to do with killing RFK.

That’s an indisputable fact!

Greencrow says:  In the early 2000's heyday of The Internet [before the Google/Facebook censors] it was flooded with facts and evidence about all the political murders of the 1960's...including the public, cold-blooded assassination of Robert Kennedy by the Jewish/Israeli infiltrated CIA. When you look back on it now...how stupid were we to not see through the tissue paper thin "official story"--that RFK was shot from in front by a Palestinian kitchen worker....when, even back the day of the assassination...we were TOLD that RFK was killed by a shot behind the ear!  It's like they were laughing at us behind our backs for our naïve stupidity...toying with us by laying the evidence right out in the open.

Over the course of decades since I've often wondered what the Kennedy family, siblings, children and grandchildren must be thinking about all the damning evidence of the multiple murders of their brothers and parents.  There has been and is a deep, dark and fearful silence emanating from that family.  Of course they knew and know.  But they had been threatened subtly and not so subtly that, if they spoke out and/or if...like Bobby...they tried to win public office with the thought of re-opening an investigation...they, or their children, would end up exactly like him.  Sadly, JFK Jr. did exactly that. He apparently wanted to look into his father's death and was about to announce his candidacy for a New York Senate Seat that Hilary Clinton had her eye on--when coincidentally...JFK Jr., his wife and her sister... all ended up dead in the waters off Martha's vineyard.  So, of course the Kennedy Family has shut up.

Until, just the other day.  Bobby's son, RFK Jr., finally spoke out and said he did not believe the official version.  He believes the commonly accepted version that a second gunman had killed his father.  What will the fall-out be from his declaration at this point in time?  It will likely be no more than a footnote in the history books.  First, the M$M was quick to "divide and conquer" by immediately publishing a report that said some of  RFK Jr's siblings do not share his opinion.  There is a LOT of fear in that family...that can be stoked...and who can blame them!?  Secondly, there is no judicial process available to "hang" RFK Jr., accusation on.  More about that in a moment.

What is and will be the lasting legacy of Robert F Kennedy?  IMO, he has and will come to epitomize a time in the history of America when there were leaders who actually referred back to the people for their democratic mandate.  A President Robert F. Kennedy would never have made the glaring "political/military errors" of a "dubya", an "Obomber" or a "Trump".  His appointees would have been genuine leaders, first class thinkers and idea initiators...not mere "hammers looking for a nail" like John Bolton.  Bobby Kennedy was as different from those three "leaders" as day is to night.  He, his brother Jack and Martin Luther King were all populists...like today's Putin.  They got their power from public support and in a "Democracy" that is the most potent political power there is.  That's why the M$M and neocon pundits keep denigrating "populist" leaders.  The neocon, globalist Ziofascist perp cabal absolutely hate populist leaders like Jack, Bobby and Martin...literally "to death"...because populist leaders don't owe the perps anything...and therefore cannot be controlled.

Finally, what can we, as truthers, learn about Bobby's death?  A lot!  We can realize that the most audacious, most unbelievable acts...like shooting a popular politician in cold blood, in a public setting, surrounded by a crowd of supporters... can be easily gotten away with...when the law enforcement, the judicial system and the political system have become corrupted.  This is the status quo in America today.  There IS NO functional law enforcement, judicial or governmental system in Amerika...it is all rotten to the core.  So, there will be no more Bobby Kennedy's to kill....Under the current "occupation" by the Deep State cabal...leaders like him will never even make it to the podium of an "Ambassador Hotel" victory party...never mind to the "kitchen".  Another thing we know is that even though we truthers are "awoke"...95% of the Western population are still fast asleep sheeple.  Which is an improvement from what existed at the time Bobby Kennedy was murdered.  Back in June of 1968...there was 99% sheeple in the population.  And I was included in that sad statistic.

RIP Bobby....Yours is the smiling face of a bygone [lost?  stolen?] America!
