Hanno riabbracciato la loro mamma i piccoli Yassine e Yasmine, di 4 e 2 anni, che ad aprile scorso erano stati sottratti dal loro padre Jamel Methenni e portati in Tunisia.
I carabinieri di Bolzano hanno riconsegnato alla madre bolzanina Rosa Mezzina i due bimbi.
L’operazione ha avuto luogo a Genova in collaborazione con il ministero degli Esteri e l’Interpol. I bimbi sono stati presi in consegna da due donne carabiniere e accompagnati presso una stazione dei carabinieri di Genova, dove ad attenderli c’erano la madre e i nonni. Stanno bene e presto torneranno a casa scortati dai militari.
L’incubo di mamma Rosa era iniziato domenica 22 aprile, quando, tornando a casa dal lavoro, aveva trovato l’appartamento stranamente silenzioso. Nessuno schiamazzo, nessun gridolino dei suoi amati bimbi, che di solito animavano la casa. Da tempo le cose non andavano bene con il marito, Jamel Methenni, di 33 anni. In procinto di separarsi dalla moglie, l’uomo aveva pensato di ritornare a casa, in Tunisia, e farsi aiutare a crescere i suoi bimbi dalla sua famiglia di origine.
Così ha preso il suo furgone, raccolto alcuni indumenti, caricato in macchina i suoi due bambini ed è partito. Jamel viaggiava però senza i passaporti dei due piccoli, così almeno pensava la madre, perché li aveva nascosti in un posto sicuro. La donna però non sapeva che Jamel pochi giorni prima della fuga aveva chiesto e ottenuto due passaporti al Consolato tunisino di Milano. Per le autorità tunisine è infatti sufficiente la richiesta di un genitore e non di entrambi, come invece in Italia e molti altri paesi.
