I’ve been looking on the internet for 3 hours now and fiddled with all the possible settings on steam and Windows 10. I can’t get the rumbles working properly on any games.
Either it simply doesn’t work on some games, whatever the settings I use with Steam (emulated rumbles and all that), or in other games it works but it’s so weak it’s barely noticable. Changing the intensity doesn’t do any differences, either in-game or in the Steam settings. It’s always the same very very low vibrations. Such games are Rocket League and Portal 2.
With Portal 2 it’s even weirder. The controller does this weird weak vibration once when pressing on either the right or left shoulder, but doesn’t vibrate for anything else. Keeping the shoulder button pressed so to make the character shoot portal non-stop only makes the controller vibrate once then doesn’t vibrate for any of the other shots. Releasing the button and pressing it again makes it vibrate again, but only once.
Just to be clearer, by saying “vibrate once”, I mean i vibrate for 1/10 of a seconds then stop.
Anyone else having this issue? I’m connected with the usb-c to a USB port on my PC. Plugging it on a USB 3 or 2 doesn’t change anything.
