My pc specs:
Mobo - Asus z97 a
CPU - I5 4440
PSU - Corsair cx500
Graphics card - R9 270x
8gb RAM
Also have an ssd and hdd.
The issue:
The "Boot_Control_LED" is on and prevents me from properly starting my pc. I can get into the startup screen for the bios settings when I have my hdmi/display port plugged in to my graphics card, but when plugged into my mobo my monitor doesn't detect anything. Whats even weirder is that my pc will refuse to power my keyboard/mouse so I can't spam the delete key to get into my bios.
Things I have tried so far:
- Tried 2 different monitors, along trying vga, hdmi, and display port cables. None worked.
- Took out the lithium battery for 5min
- Reset BIOS settings via mobo
- Made sure RAM was in securely and tried moving it around to other spots. Also tried each each stick in each port.
- Tried all USB ports, but was only detecting keyboard when in the USB 2.0 ports
- Tried starting up w/o ssd/hdd NOT connected, same result
My keyboard/mouse work fine on my laptop and even show up on the BIOS startup page that they are detected, as seen in this image. https://imgur.com/a/K1Ta28M (image is from when I had only one stick of ram in btw) Still won't let me get past this screen.
Not sure what could've caused this, pc was working fine until I moved, but pc was in a suitcase w/blankets :(
Any suggestions would be appreciated, if it isn't fixable what part would be causing this issue?
