Hi,
My pc recently run into a crash that has ultimately rendered it useless, as i no longer can access internet, and it seems to me that i've tried everyting other than formatting the whole thing and reinstalling windows or some other OS...
By any means, i have very little idea of informatics and this sort of issues, so any help will be very appreciated.
Some days ago, as i moved the mouse to wake up the pc from a period of inactivity, it crashed and i had to force its shut it down. When i restart it, i have no ineternet and i quickly realize the network adapter is displaying a problem in the device manager... And by myself i haven't advanced much neither in solving it nor in discovering what happened...
I am running Windows 10 on a quite new system, and this is the fisrt promblem it gives me. Currently, it says in the information displayed when clicked in the device manager, that the device, the network adapter, can't start due to a problem. It is probably worth mentioning that i keep running in minor crashes of the device manager while clicking on the adapter icon and messing around it's properties window, and most importantly, that on restart (of the pc), i cannot access the UEFI because it displays a message saying
"Initializing Intel(R) Boot Agent CL v.0.1.10
PXE-EE05: The LAN adapter's NVM configuration system is corrupted or has not been initialized. The boot Agent cannot continue."
And afterwards it boots in windows, ignoring any F12 or any other key being pressed or clicked.
So i'll say what i've tried so far:
-Reinstalling the adapter drivers, both from intel and my motherboard's manufacturer webpage, in any of the ways and order i could imagine, obtaining no change that i can see.
-Trying to restore windows to a previous version, but it simply answered that it ccouldn't due to some error; as always so helpful.
-I restored the system with the tool windows offers to a date previous to the fisrt crash, nothing changed.
I suspect this has something to do with some recent update of windows, as in the events list of the device properties, a moment before the crash (or maybe after, i am not very sure, but at the same time) it says it need to install a new device, that it added a new driver service, and that it installed some device called e1d65x64.inf..
Any help concerning what to try or what might have happened will be very apprecciated, as i am quite desperate and have no idea what else to do. If you need any extra information abouy my system or the manner of the crash please ask.
