The Problem: PC keeps trying to power on, but something somewhere is causing it to stop powering on and then it starts trying to power on again after a few seconds. It'll keep doing this until turning off the power supply. Do you think the issue is with the motherboard, power supply, or possibly both?

Gif of the problem

Alright so here's the situation. I'm leaving in an hour or so for MicroCenter to pick up some parts. The issue, I'm not 100% sure what I actually need to fix the issue. I can't figure out if the issue is with the power supply or motherboard. I'm going with the motherboard just because some of the pins are bent in the USB slot. Also just to note with the motherboard, I found the harder I pressed the power supply into it, the longer the fans and lights stay on but only but a second or two.

The other thing that's getting me is could this just be an issue with the CPU fan? Is this something that happens when the cooler isn't mounted properly and a safety thing stops it from booting up? I had this issue with my old CPU fan where the PC would die shortly after booting up because it would overheat and the problem went away after installing the cooler master.

My plan right now is to pick up

New Motherboard

New fan for Cooler Master

Possibly new power supply depending on recommendations here on what I should do

Also going to grab more thermal paste to make sure it's being cooled properly

I just don't want to be buying extra parts or something that's not needed so if anyone here has had a similar issue in the past I'd love to hear if they were able to solve it.

The whole thing has been bugging me out so if I'm leaving out crucial information or anything you need please ask and I'll respond immediately.
