Its a small nitpick, but I just got my first Windows laptop in about 7 years. All of my other Windows machines have been desktops, and as such, a squeaky clean Windows install. Therefore, when Windows would boot up it'd be the sleek blue minimalist Windows logo.
Now I boot up my machine and I get the overly flashy manufacturer logo instead, which just doesn't look good at all.
I tried doing a factory reset and the W10 Fresh Start tool, but neither did the trick.
Again, it doesn't negatively affect the performance of the machine, but I'm a tinkerer at heart, and being Windows, I feel like there has to be some way to get it the way I want. I'm still relatively inexperienced with Windows as a whole, however, because, while my desktop is a Windows machine, my main use computer was my Mac of 7 years. There are still things I'd like to try and fix. For instance, I have a high DPI screen, and there seems to be a few scaling issues with a few applications (if you know of any good fixes for those, feel free to chime in for that too).
