Camara è un uomo senegalese che ha vissuto sette anni in Italia e, dopo che è tornato nel suo paese nativo, è diventato imprenditore.
Come riporta l'articolo della Stampa, la storia di Karounga è stata recentemente narrata nel libro L’emigrazione degli africani. Osare il ritorno.
