I booted from a Lubuntu LiveCD and attempted to "fix" the MBR using "sudo dd if=/usr/lib/syslinux/mbr.bin of=/dev/sda", which has worked for me in the past. Now when I boot there is a black screen with "MBR F3A" or something like that. Before running the above command I was able to access the data on the hard drive but now it says the drive is unallocated. How can I fix this?
tl;dr: I used a Linux command to "fix" the MBR and now my drive says it's unallocated.
