I just found the LG Flatron W2442PA my brother threw away about half a year ago, claiming it to be dead. Out of curiosity I tried plugging it in and the screensaver appeared, saying something along the lines of „no video source connected“. I was happy to have it working again and plugged in an HDMI cable connected to my notebook. The monitor instantly shut down and now I’m unable to power it on, no matter what I try. (HDMI in or out/leaving the monitor alone for some time)

Does anyone here have an idea what might have caused this? I think it’s really weird. I really hope there is an easy fix.
