A few days ago my computer decided to not start up, we checked every cable and then started unplugging components to see and discovered that the psu wouldn't start while the hard drives were connected to the psu(even if they weren't connected to the motherboard). The HDD worked with another computer but the ssd didn't, so under warranty we changed the psu in case the ssd somehow had fried it. But afterwards it still won't work even with only the working HDD.
Could this be a fault with the motherboard? I've gotten a Linux system working via usb only connected so it isn't completely broken.
