Hello, I am an avid computer enthusiast who cannot seem to find the solution to a quite annoying problem. A few days back while playing a game my computer randomly shut off, it was late at night so I went to bed and thought nothing of it. I get on for the next few days and well my computer would shut down randomly during periods of heavy use. At first I thought it was a thermal issue with my CPU, so I switched out my intel stock cooler for a Noctua 70mm low profile air cooler, so my CPU now idles at 33 C and doesn’t go above 70 C when at 100 percent load. Next, I just bought a brand bew Corsair 650 watt power supply and to my dismay the problem still exists. I did notice while playing Halo Online my frames were significantly more choppy than before. I would previously get a solid 60 frames per second. I have also changed surge protectors and power cords, as well as cleaned the whole computer of dust. There is no evidence of damage or burns on my motherboard. Any suggestions would be fantastic. My system specs are:
