This has been happening for some time and my search through the comcast forums haven't been much help. The first thing I did when I saw similar people were having a problem was to update the default security settings to WPA2-PSK (AES) from the factory default. Unfortunately I am still having sporadic internet connection losses while the wi-fi still remains active. All devices get booted from the network cellphones, printer, firestick, and power cycling doesn't accomplish anything. These connection interruptions last about 7 minutes. And I've seen the internet light on the actual modem illuminated during the outages.
Any help would be much appreciated.
