It ticked down for the first time under 4%.

For the month of April, the nonfarm payroll added 164,000 jobs. The unemployment rate falls to 3.9 percent and it prompted Donald J. Trump to take the credit for it.

Overall, the unemployment numbers show a trend.

According to the Washington Post, for the past six months, the jobless rate had clung to 4.1 percent, the longest it had gone without budging since the late 1960s. (The record to beat: nine months.) The streak defied the expectations of economists, who said the nation's prolonged hiring blitz was bound to drive the figure down.

Women seemed to propel April's drop. The share of unemployed female job seekers sank to 3.5 percent last month, down from 3.8 percent in March. Other worker groups — men (3.7 percent), whites (3.6 percent), blacks (6.6 percent), Hispanics (4.8 percent) — showed little to no change.

The problems lie within the numbers.

If you have 326 million Americans in the United States at least 62 percent of them are working. A handful of baby boomers (those born between 1953 to 1965) retiring. You have a handful of Americans who are losing their jobs in retail, hospitality and manufacturing.

That 164,000 jobs are being divided among a handful of regions. Which region will get the jobs?

Matter of fact, how many jobs are lost with the recent closures of Toys R Us, Bon Ton and Claire's?

Trump's economy isn't making America great.

Trump is trying start a trade war with China, Russia, Mexico and Canada. Each of these countries have threatened retaliation.

About 94.2 million Americans aren't working. Given they did not include the destructive hurricanes, wildfires and mass shootings. They haven't bragged much about the wage gap.

The wage gap has been more challenging for the middle class. The paychecks aren't huge. And watching the hours and time served, people are happy with their jobs. When the tax cuts take effect, we will see if the paychecks are living up to the expectations the Republicans promised.

The labor force rate remains unchanged as well. About 62.6 percent of Americans are working/overworked.

Okay, here's the reason to why Americans aren't working.

1. DEAD
2. BORN
3. IN PRISON
4. IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
5. IN MIDDLE SCHOOL
6. IN HIGH SCHOOL
7. IN COLLEGE NOT LOOKING
8. VOLUNTEER
9. DISABLED
10. STAY AT HOME PARENT
11. RETIRED
12. QUIT ON THEIR OWN
13. NOT HIRING QUALIFIED
14. NATURAL DISASTERS
15. ACTIVE MILITARY
16. NOT HIRING TOO QUALIFIED
17. LAID OFF
18. FIRED FROM THE JOB
19. DESTRUCTION TO FACILITY
20. OUTSOURCING

So if you actually believe that Trump is doing good, you're wrong. We are going to see the economy tank in three years. The inept leader rollback of regulations, these tariffs, saying these ridiculous comments and pushing for tax cuts are going to hurt us.

They say that unemployment for African Americans is at a record low. They said Black unemployment rate is at 6.6 percent.

Many companies aren't hiring Black workers. Many Black people are being either locked up, shot, or discriminated by America's capitalism.

Most Americans believe Trump is dishonest. That's not good. People are saying that Republicans are overreaching. This could hurt their chances to hold onto Congress.

They want to rehash a legacies of the 20th Century. The era of Ronald Reagan has long passed and the Republican Party is still stuck in that era.
